Tier Sorter is a gamified tier list maker. Instead of dragging images to tiers, you are presented with a series of "this or that" choices, each of which shifts the tier list one step closer to its final perfect form. Every decision made affects not just the two options, but every decision made before and after as well.
During the setup, you can choose the amount of tiers, their names, and their colors. You can also choose to play in "multiplayer", which allows any number of votes to be cast for every option. The images used should ideally be square, but anything works. In fact, you can use any media - videos and audio work too.
After starting, there will be a small bar below the tiers showing how many rounds you've completed. The initial goal is a "good enough" amount of rounds, after which everything should be mostly in place. But feel free to keep going after that until every possible comparison is complete. No comparisons are repeated.
You can click on images to view them in their full size, and click on the "Show next" button to open the next or currently in progress comparison.
Finally, there will be a few options at the bottom left. "Show ratings" shows the current Elo rating of each image next to their name during comparisons or when they are viewed in full size. The other two options control if after a comparison the next one is opened automatically, and if so, whether there is a small delay to glance at how the ranking has changed due to the comparison.
